EAST VILLAGE. was founded in 2013 with a simple but radical belief: that founder-led businesses deserved an agency that was unambiguously, unapologetically built for them.
For 12 years we pushed boundaries, went outside the brief, and consistently did more than traditional PR asked of us. Media relations led to personal brand work. Personal brand work led to speaking opportunities. Speaking opportunities led to events. Events built communities. And somewhere along the way we realised we hadn’t just been running a PR agency, we’d been building something much bigger.
So we named it. A visibility agency, where a passionate team and expert freelancers come together to think big, execute brilliantly, and help our clients own their space.

Tara Attfield-Tomes
For over two decades, Tara Attfield-Tomes has been a force for change in the business world. A multi-award-winning entrepreneur, she founded EAST VILLAGE. in 2013 with a radical vision to make visibility a growth strategy for female founders and leaders, not a nice-to-have.
Tara is also founder of The 51% Club, a national community getting more women-led businesses to £1m and beyond, with 2,000+ members across five city hubs. She is on a mission to ensure visibility, wealth, and power for women are never an afterthought.
