YOUTUBE STARS ‘SIDEMEN’ TO OPEN NEW CLOTHING STORE IN BIRMINGHAM’S BULLRING

YouTube pioneers The Sidemen’s new SDMN Clothing store is set to open at the highly sought after space in Birmingham’s Bullring. Set to open on the 4th of October, this will mark the second physical SDMN store which gives fans the chance to purchase the distinctive designs the group offers in the flesh.

Started in 2013 and consisting of best friends Olajide “KSI” Olatunji, Simon “Miniminter” Minter, Josh “Zerkaa” Bradley, Tobi “TBJZL” Brown, Ethan “Behzinga” Payne and Vikram “Vikkstar123” Barn, The Sidemen are among the most high-profile internet personalities from Europe having accrued over 21.6 million subscribers and a total of 6.4 billion video views, as well as many more followers across their various social media channels.

Sidemen Clothing, often abbreviated to SDMN, is a merchandise brand owned by the Sidemen. Established in 2013, the rise of Sidemen Clothing has coincided with The Sidemen’s ever-growing online presence and their constant connection with an enormous worldwide audience. Their new 4500 sq ft store in the Bullring will house a wide array of merchandise products, including a new SDMN x Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles collaboration range.

Speaking on the opening of the new store, SDMN Clothing MD Matt Peters states:

“We’re incredibly excited to be joining forces with the Bullring to bring the Sidemen brand to Birmingham. Last year we established that the brand absolutely works in a physical retail space and with our new store we’re confident we will continue to evolve and flourish as a unique fashion brand.”

Located between Foot Asylum and JD Sports in the Bullring, the new store will offer a range of Sidemen-branded clothing, including limited-edition items that are only available in-store. This marks a major milestone for the group as they continue to grow their physical retail presence.

Bullring management has already expressed excitement about the new addition, with the store’s opening expected to draw large crowds. The Sidemen have shared their enthusiasm for meeting their Birmingham fans and are looking forward to making the event special.

Toby Tait, Director of Asset Management at Hammerson, added:

“Retail is evolving with a stronger focus on the human experience, which we are reflecting in the strategic repositioning of Bullring & Grand Central. Our approach aligns perfectly with SDMN Clothing’s desire to create a physical environment in which fans can experience the brand in a very tangible way, and their selection of Bullring demonstrates the destination’s continued appeal to best-in-class brands.”

The opening event will begin at 12pm, where fans will have the chance to see the Sidemen performing and be among the first to shop the exclusive merchandise.
