WORLD PADEL CLUB BIRMINGHAM SWINGS BACK INTO ACTION

Next weekend is set to see the re-opening of World Padel Club Birmingham in Yardley. Getting the ball rolling once more after a four-week refurbishment, this two-day extravaganza will unite the local community for a day that’s full on fun and free for all.

Previously known as Padel Nation, World Padel Club Birmingham is back with a whole new look, which it wants to share with its neighbours first. Now the make-over is complete, the centre in Yardley is re-launching this month with state-of-the-art courts, new equipment, and a revitalised brand. The event, which takes place on 22 and 23 October, will be showcasing these changes to the local community, inviting the residents in Yardley and further afield to take a swing at padel and enjoy the fun-filled, free activities for all the family.

From 11am to 3pm, the centre will put on an array of activities: while padel will take centre court, its sister-sports will also be on show. Padball, which is a cross between padel and football, will be available to play, alongside footpool, which is a version of pool where players kick the cue in favour of their feet. Some more familiar sports will be making an appearance too, with football, tennis, dodgeball, and table tennis, all being played on the day too.

Commenting on the re-launch Andrew Knox, co-founder of the World Padel Club Birmingham, said:

“We are so excited to unveil World Padel Club Birmingham and we hope that the residents of Yardley, Birmingham, and Solihull will welcome our brand new look. The refurbishment project has been underway for a while now and the hard work of all those involved has truly paid off: the club looks incredible and we can’t wait to show it off! Whether you’re looking for sports or socialising, prizes or more information about padel, our open days will be the place to be.”

From music and prize giveaways to numerous sports available for the public to play, the fundays are set to be unmissable. The team at World Padel Club Birmingham will also be laying on a spread, with snacks and drinks on site for those who need refreshment. If you fancy coming along, you can join the fun for free from 11am on both 22 and 23 October.
