Women’s Health Event Set For The States Following Successful London Launch

Following its hugely successful London premiere, SiS – the leading Women’s Health platform facilitating impact in women’s health innovation – is proud to announce its expansion to the USA, with a landmark event set to take place in New York City between the 14-15 May 2025. Committed to driving better outcomes for women globally, the two-day event promises a similarly action-packed agenda, with investors, innovators, multinationals and industry experts coming together to address critical gaps in the industry.

Its debut event in London marked a significant milestone, leaving attendees feeling inspired and equipped to drive real change across the industry and armed with key insights into the challenges and opportunities in women’s health. With over 100 participants in attendance, the event provided a vibrant platform for exchanging ideas and fostering valuable insights, setting the groundwork for future collaborations. This enthusiasm for growth and partnership was reflected in the 133 meetings arranged and more than 500 messages exchanged through the SiS: Women’s Health app.

Supported by PDD and Garmin Health, SiS’s New York launch next May will feature an exciting agenda of panels, keynote sessions, and networking opportunities. Attendees will hear from speakers from every stage of the innovation lifecycle – from Seed and Growth to Expansion and M&A – with leading voices including Priyanka Jain, Founder and CEO of Evvy; Brittany Barreto, Founder of FemHealth Analytics; Alessandra Henderson, Co-Founder of Elektra Health; Joanna Strober, Founder of Midi; Elizabeth Bailey, Managing Partner of Foreground Capital and Jyoti Gupta, CEO Women’s Health at GE Healthcare.

Sharing practical tools for scaling and sustaining businesses, the panel will address key issues ranging from health equity and sector profitability to commercial growth and adaptation to the AI revolution, all of which are essential for unlocking long-term industry growth. Through showcasing successful case studies, discussions will also delve into the key challenges founders face at various stages of growth—from seed funding to exit strategies.

Sufanah Hamza, Program and Content Lead, shares her excitement for SiS’s expansion to the US, commenting:

“We’re thrilled to replicate the momentum we’ve created in London and take it to the USA. This event is more than just a milestone—it’s a fantastic opportunity to build on the solid foundations we’ve laid and truly accelerate progress in women’s health innovation on a global scale.

Our goal is not only to create spaces where conversations can happen but also to provide innovators with the connections, tools, and tailored advice they need to turn their ideas into scalable, investible businesses. We want to empower them to solve real-world challenges and make a lasting impact on women’s health worldwide. SiS will continue to push boundaries, foster groundbreaking partnerships, and create a platform that drives growth and meaningful change across the industry.”

Attendees can also look forward to another edition of the SiS: Solve pitch competition, providing a platform for entrepreneurs to showcase their cutting-edge women’s health solutions to a room of industry experts and investors. With a carefully curated audience of over 250 executives and a diverse range of stakeholders – including 40% growth-stage innovators, 20% representatives from multinationals, and 20% investors – the event is designed to encourage learning, growth and connections across the sector. Through a dedicated matchmaking portal, attendees can enjoy personalised networking opportunities designed to maximise collaboration and propel innovators forward.

Sufanah adds her insights and expands on the role SiS: New York will play in driving change across the sector as they launch in the US, commenting:

“The energy and engagement we saw at our London event, proves that this community is ready to transform women’s health globally. It really solidifies the incredible potential for innovation in women’s health when we bring together brilliant minds from across the ecosystem to collaborate and share knowledge.

We believe this is just the beginning of a transformative journey for women’s health, and we’re so excited to see where it leads.”
