With restrictions finally lifted, we’re delighted that live events are back… and it was great to kick-off what’s set to be a busy second half of the year for events, with the City of Birmingham Business Awards 2021!

Held in the recently re-opened Grand Hotel Birmingham, which has undergone a stunning £45million refurbishment, Downtown in Business got the first event of the year underway… and what a celebration it was. Not least because we were crowned ‘PR & Marketing Agency of the Year 2021’!

The Grade-II listed building is simply breath-taking, and the awards took place in the incredible ballroom, with our friends – Mr & Mrs Grey – providing perfectly-pitched entertainment throughout the event. Even better than that, they just happened to be the presenters of our award too!

After the past 16 months, and the event being moved several times, it was great to be back in the city and celebrating with everyone. Taking home the award was the icing on the cake and testament to the hard work and dedication of TeamEV throughout the pandemic.

Huge congratulations to all of the finalists, winners, and team behind-the-scenes too! Now we’re off to dust off that trophy cabinet and proudly place this award alongside our other accolades, including CIPR Pride Awards, SME News Awards, Forward Ladies, and Small Biz 100!
