Last week, the EV. girls took some time out of the office to get in front of the camera for a change. With Danielle joining us as Head of Events, it was the perfect time to get some official team pictures.

We commissioned the very talented Ryan Phillips to take our pictures; bringing his transatlantic touch to the EAST VILLAGE. brand.

Ryan is usually found taking pictures of Jessie J, One Direction, Union J and other top superstars. He’s also recently completed an awesome campaign for Topman, as well as the official merchandise catalogue for Aston Villa Football Club. But for one day only – well, it was two actually – he took time from his busy schedule to take our official team pictures.

Staying true to the company name, we wanted a New York feel to the images so Digbeth was the obvious choice. The Custard Factory, and surrounding streets, gave us the perfect backdrop thanks to some fantastic graffiti walls and busy streets.

The shoot was full of joking around; pulling faces, dancing in the street, doing stupid poses… and yet, despite all that, Ryan managed to get some brilliant pictures for us. We kept some of the ‘outtakes’ too though!
