Joseph Chamberlain Sixth Form College has come top of the class once again with the highest pass rate in its history this results day. The only college to be rated ‘Outstanding’ in Birmingham and Solihull, JCC has proved its title once more, achieving an exceptional 99.4% pass rate. Added to this, nearly half of all A-level students achieved the highest A-B grades for the third year running, showing that JCC is truly a first class college.
After being the only college in the region to receive an ‘Outstanding’ OFSTED-rating, Joseph Chamberlain has now announced it is accompanying this with record exam results. For the sixth year in a row, the college has achieved over 99% pass rate with the majority of students securing places at their first-choice university in September. Once again over 90% of Joseph Chamberlain College students will be moving on to university study and many of those are to the most prestigious institutions and courses, which is a huge achievement.
Speaking about the record results day, Principal Tony Day comments:
“We are so incredibly proud of our students and the tremendous grades they achieve through their hard work and dedication. This year, we’re celebrating our best ever A-level results and we couldn’t be more impressed with our learners. Our talented teaching team is devoted to supporting students and the college is tremendously proud of the high standards we have reached and maintained. We know that this is due to the dedication of our teachers and the drive of our learners, and I can’t wait to see the success the students go on to achieve in years to come!”
Mohamed Riluwanudeen, one of Joseph Chamberlain Sixth Form Colleges’ high achievers who is going on to study medicine at Aston University adds:
“The teachers at Joseph Chamberlain are so incredibly supportive; they make it clear that students can email them anytime, anywhere and are always ready to go the extra mile to support the students. I’m so excited for the next steps in my journey and am hugely grateful to the college for laying the learning foundations for me to continue to strive for success. I will always look back on my time at JCC with fond memories as I go on to study Medicine at Aston University!”
