No longer the new-kid-on-the-block, thestudioglasgow is proving it’s already one of the city’s high-flyers with an ever-growing team. Since opening in September 2016, the venue has enjoyed tremendous success in its first Scottish location, leading to the appointment of new Sales Consultant, Tracey Morrison. Tracey will be joining the 8 other members of staff, which has increased from 3 in just nine months.
Tracey’s new role will see her become the face of thestudio in the local area. Having previously worked in both retail and consumer hospitality, Tracey is the perfect fit for the position, taking thestudio’s “Customer First” motto very seriously. Day-to-day, Tracey will be responsible for ensuring both new and returning clients have experiences that live up to thestudio’s high standards.
Speaking about the latest recruit, Gillian Adams, the Operations Manager at thestudioglasgow, said:
“We’re so pleased to welcome Tracey on board and to have her bring her experience and expertise to the role. thestudioglasgow has had such a great reception since we opened last year and we’re so pleased that the city has embraced us with open arms. We look forward to continuing to grow here with the help of Tracey and the rest of the Glasgow team.”
Known for its fresh and colourful take on the typically monochrome corporate world, thestudio has maintained its signature style in its latest venue. Proving that the events and conference business doesn’t have to be dull, thestudioglasgow has unconventional quirks, such as its Scottish Icon wall depicting favourites like Tunnocks Tea Cakes, the Wallace Monument and even the Krankies. These finishing touches, known by thestudio team as the ‘Tiny Noticeable Things’, are what has helped the group take the Scottish city by storm.
Some of thestudio’s clients have become regulars in the past seven months, with repeat bookings being made by the likes of the BBC, NHS Scotland, Barnardos, and AXA at the Glasgow venue.
“So far, thestudioglasgow has been the most initially successful venue for the company, and we hope that we can continue this as we grow. We hope to keep being able to deliver the best for this wonderful city and we’re looking forward to sharing our success with the people of Glasgow,” added Gillian.
