THESTUDIOGLASGOW OPENS ITS DOORS TO A WEEGIE-WELCOME

After months of planning, hard-work, and final finishing touches, thestudioglasgow has now opened its doors to the UK’s fourth largest population. The brand-new venue is thestudio’s fourth location and has brought its signature style to Glasgow’s 67 Hope Street.

Known for its fresh and colourful take on the typically monochrome corporate world, thestudioglasgow is similar to its sister venues in Birmingham, Manchester, and Leeds. However, the site has made sure to stay true to its Scottish surroundings with a Scottish Icon wall behind the reception that depicts favourites like Tunnocks Tea cakes, the Wallace Monument and even The Krankies.

Speaking about the opening of thestudioglasgow, Commercial Director Julian Kettleborough said:

“I am so pleased that we are up and running and that the people of Glasgow can see what we’ve been working on. The product of 6.75 tonnes of plasterboard, 20,000 screws, 1,100 square metres of flooring, and 4,000 litres of paint, this latest venue has been a labour of love and to see it now makes me so proud. The team has worked tirelessly to make it perfect and I can’t wait to hear what people think of it!”

thestudioglasgow is located at 67 Hope Street and is comprised of six vibrant event spaces. The main room boasts stunning views over the city, revealing hidden architecture from up on the ninth floor. Blending traditional Glasgow with contemporary design; an original façade on one side and stylish glass front on the other, sets the tone of the new venue. Inside there’s a space for every need, with rooms that suit two to 250, and every capacity in between. There’s also an image of a cliff face, complete with authentic handholds, outside the largest space – Climb.

Each room has been equipped with state-of-the-art facilities, providing a comfortable and stylish environment for maximum productivity: guests can expect every room to have wireless internet connection, HDMI data projectors, Apple TV and integrated sound systems.

Those who know thestudio will be pleased to hear that its breakout zones still remain a focus, as well as its open spaces for exhibitions, networking or simply a place for clients to recharge batteries. Customers are able to fuel their creativity with delicious meals cooked on-site with locally sourced ingredients by thestudio’s chefs, not to mention free-flowing hot drinks and snacks throughout the day.
