Next month, West Midlands Safari Park will play host to a special Yoga Supper Club, hosted by Herefordshire-based pop-up yoga events business, Closet Yoga Club. Taking place on Thursday 18 October, the event will bring together yogis for an evening of rejuvenation and relaxation in the surroundings of West Midlands Safari Park’s Spring Grove House and Cellarz venue.
The Yoga Supper Club will begin with ashtanga flow yoga and handstand practise led by expert yoga teacher, Robin Aurora. Having practiced yoga for over 20 years, Robin is considered one of the UK’s leading instructors and he embarks on an annual pilgrimage to Mysore, India to study at the Ashtanga Yoga Research Institute. With a passion for headstands, he has spent the last 10 years travelling the world teaching people how to view the world upside down, and will bring his expertise to West Midlands Safari Park as part of the Yoga Supper Club.
Robin will be joined by Closet Yoga Club founder, Emily Charlton, who left her property career in London back in 2016 to turn her passion into a business. She has since built Closet Yoga Club into the leading yoga events company in Herefordshire and the Midlands, and next month is the latest event in a series of pop-ups dedicated to great food and relaxing yoga.
She comments:
“I am so excited to be hosting our next event in such an amazing venue! The setting is just perfect to bring yogis together for an evening learning from Robin and I, before getting to know each other over dinner and drinks.
“We make the Closet Yoga Club events as inclusive as we can, so whether you’re a complete beginner looking to be taken through step-by-step or at an advance level in need of a challenge, we develop a 60-minute session that leaves you feeling like you’ve really achieved something!” Emily continues.
After the group yoga session, guests will then be served cocktails and mocktails, as well as a three-course meal by the Spring Grove House chefs. Designed to honour the inclusive yoga community and bring people together, so whether you do yoga alone or with friends, joining Closet Yoga Club’s community will leave you with many more amazing yogi connections.
Early Bird tickets for the Yoga Supper Club can be purchased at £45 (before 25September), with General Admission (before 8 October) at £55. Tickets include a 60-minute yoga session led by Emily and Robin, a post-yoga cocktail (or mocktail), three course dinner, a Closet Yoga Club tote bag packed full with goodies and discounts, and free parking.
