P&CO RELEASES HAND MADE IN BIRMINGHAM, ENGLAND COLLECTION

Leading lifestyle and menswear brand, P&Co, has released its first leather collection, “Hand Made in Birmingham, England”. Working with one of the best leather manufacturers in Birmingham, the latest product range is unique, raw and built to last.

From classic cardholders to worker belts, the “Hand Made in Birmingham, England” collection focuses on the quality and simplicity of the leather. With products that mature over time, developing to create truly unique and individual pieces.

Mr. Clark, co-founder and designer at P&Co, said:

“We took our time with this collection, selecting only the best materials; from the quality leathers right down to the threads, and we wanted our designs to emphasise that. Being based in the Midlands is something we’re proud of, as a brand, and we wanted to showcase that; incorporating the ‘Hand Made in Birmingham, England’ embossed signature across the product range. We want our customers to be proud that our products were made with skill by local hands in Birmingham.“

The collection includes durable and sophisticated pieces, including the sought-after Classic Card Holder (£48) and Dual Sleeve Card Holder (£62), which come in black, conker, maroon and navy. The Leather iPhone sleeves are set to be a big hit with gadget fans too. Available in black and conker, they are available for the iPhone 5 and 5S (£34), iPhone 6 (£38), and iPhone 6+ (£40). There are also worker belts (£36), lanyards (£34), and key fobs (£24). The full collection can be purchased online: pand.co.

Alongside ‘Hand Made in Birmingham, England’, P&Co has also released its latest menswear collection, BLK + GLD. Inspired by ‘Dark Days and Golden Nights’ the collection features iconic hand drawn designs with a slightly sinister theme: luck.

The theme is prominent across the collection, which boasts P&Co’s unique design, and includes t-shirts (£30) and long sleeves (£34) adorned with slogans like ‘Luck Never Hurt Anyone’ and ‘Roll The Bones’. Alongside this, BLK + GLD also includes a host of leather goods and accessories embossed with the P&Co logo; leather card holders (£52-£64), iPhone 6 (£40) and iPhone 6+ (£42) sleeves, lanyards (£36), key fobs (£30), notepads (£22), playing cards (£20), and dice (£14).

“We always look on things with an alternative energy, reworking them into a slightly more industrial and rawer version of what once was. We wanted to put a slightly darker spin on the gold element to the collection. This then led to us being inspired by the theme, which ran as a subtle undertone to the graphic elements and products that feature within the collection. For us, across both collections, it’s all about staying true to P&Co’s mantra: Life, Style and Elegance,” Mr. Clark continued.

P&Co designers, Clark & Timms founded the initial brand over coffee in Birmingham hot spot Yorks Bakery Café back in 2013. Then, following the success of the P&Co “Death before Decaf” re-usable mug online, which sold out within an hour, the brand teamed up with Yorks Espresso Bar in Great Western Arcade to fill the mugs with coffee. This marks the beginning of an on-going collaboration between P&Co and Yorks for the New Year, with an exclusive #PandCoYorks re-usable mug to be released every month from January 2015.
