Having launched its latest location in Leeds last autumn, thestudio has announced that it has secured its fourth venue in Glasgow. The group is hoping for a warm Weegie-welcome when opens its doors in September, later this year. Known for its fresh and colourful take on the typically monochrome corporate world, thestudioglasgow will be bringing its signature style to the heart of the city. It will be located in the newly refurbished 67 Hope Street office block, which sees the union of old and new with a traditional façade on one side paired with a contemporary glass frontage on the other. 67 Hope Street is located in the city centre, making it conveniently placed for both business and retail districts, and also well served by Glasgow’s transport links: it sits facing the city’s primary train station, Glasgow Central, meaning visitors from outside the city will be able to travel from station to location with ease.
thestudio will span the top two floors of 67 Hope Street, with nine vibrant event spaces equipped to the highest standard with all you need for a productive and engaging event. A place to meet, train and entertain, each room at thestudioglasgow will be decked out with wireless internet connection, HDMIdata projectors, Apple TV and integrated sound systems. The rooms vary in size making it a versatile venue for any group: whether you’re looking for a boardroom to host 16 guests, a conference space for 250, or something somewhere in-between, thestudio has a space just for you.
As those who have visited its other venues will know, the event experts at thestudio take the mantra ‘Work Hard, Play Hard’ very seriously. This has led to the creation of breakout areas, designed especially to get those creative juices flowing. The latest branch will have two areas focused on charging its guests’ brainpower, with free-flow refreshments throughout the day and open spaces perfect for exhibitions, networking, or just taking a quick time-out from a busy day.
