With one hundred million subscribers watching over one billion hours of content a week, it’s official that Netflix is more than just a streaming service: it’s a way of life. Now, Pub du Vin Birmingham is calling all the city’s binge-watchers to flex their Netflix knowledge at its brand new quiz, which will feature questions all about the service’s most popular shows.

Do you know your Tommy Egan’s from your Crazy Eyes’? How about your Rosewood High from your Liberty High? If the answer is ‘yes’, then clear your calendar for 6pm on 19 February, and swap your sofa for a seat at Pub du Vin. Netflix & Quiz, the quick-fire quiz, will pit teams head-to-head to be crowned king of the silver screen. To help get their brains in gear, players will also be treated to a free welcome drink and, of course, popcorn.

Hosted by the city’s speed-quizzing extraordinaire Stoo Pittaway, the interactive quiz is played via an app right from your very own phone. Teams submit answers at the tap of a screen, yielding live results and bonus marks for the fastest answer. What’s more, it means the days of cheating and contestants marking each other’s papers are as old as watching TV in real-time.

Tom Gallimore, General Manager of Hotel du Vin, is looking forward to bringing Birmingham’s binge-watching brainiacs together for the fun. He commented:
