TeamEV.’s newest recruit, Account Executive Lucy Swarbrick, shares her highlights from her first two weeks at EAST VILLAGE.

My first two weeks at EAST VILLAGE. have been so much fun! There has been a lot to learn, and TeamEV. life definitely moves FAST, but I have loved getting into the swing of #agencylife. Read on for some of my fave things about EV life so far.

I’ve really been enjoying building professional relationships and reaching out to journalists (and even securing some journo – lunches!) I’m super excited to meet them this week and hopefully secure some amazing coverage for our clients.

I am LOVING how fast paced #agencylife is – my to do list is constantly chopping and changing but I thrive on that! Whether I’m meeting new clients, doing press outreach, or attending events, no two days are ever the same!

The lovely team! ❤️ Everyone at EAST VILLAGE. has been so welcoming. TeamEV. have gone above and beyond to help me settle into my new role and are always happy to answer any of my questions. They have made me feel really at home!

Joining the team during International Women’s Week meant I was lucky enough to attend all of EV.’s fab events. The IWD Selfridges event, ‘Womanhood: 3.0’, was amazing – being surrounded by so many inspiring, motivational women was really empowering. It made me realise how proud I am to be a part of such a modern and forward-thinking agency.

This was all perfectly rounded off with the IWD After Dark Party. This was a great chance to meet clients for the first time, and to get to know other people from the Midlands’ tech ecosystem; all over some dancing and drinks. This was the perfect way to end my first 2 weeks!
