LOWER PRECINCT COVENTRY WELCOMES FANTASTIC FOUR

As Lower Precinct Coventry’s directory continues to expand, following the opening of three new stores, and a fourth on its way, it is without doubt gearing up for the busy festive season. High Street favourites Reveal, Game and Smiggle have joined other well-established names H&M, New Look, Next and Tiger, and will also be joined by a brand new business when the winner of the centre’s ‘Win A Shop’ competition is announced.

As market front-runner Game comes to the centre so does the latest technology from recognised brands such as Xbox, Wii and PlayStation, as well as popular products like FIFA, Sid Meier’s Civilization and Red Dead Redemption. The store is set to make its mark, with several midnight launches planned for the unveiling of new games. This will include Battlefield 1 on 20 October, Call of Duty on 3 November, Watchdogs on 14 November and Pokemon on 22 November. Not only will these events, typically running from 9pm-2am, bring a buzz to the centre, but they will also provide the opportunities for you to get your hands on some perfect Christmas stocking extras.

Fashion-forward retailer Reveal has also opened on the lower level of the centre, so you can feast on everyday essentials, statement items and glamorous evening wear.

Not to forget the ultimate creators of colourful, fun, on-trend stationary, Smiggle, who opened during the summer season, with a range that is bigger and better than ever.

An amazing opportunity has arisen with the ‘Win A Shop’ competition wherein the winning business, which will be announced in the next two weeks is set to open by the end of November, just in time to have its doors open for the Christmas rush. The entrepreneur will occupy Unit 1 Sherbourne Arcade for 12 months rent free, with no liability for rates, and will receive the design and print of store marketing materials to support the launch, as well as mentoring and business support throughout the tenancy.

With a weekly footfall of around 200,000 shoppers, Lower Precinct’s new openings are set to lead to a further increase in visitors who are keen to get their hands on everything the new stores have to offer in time for the Christmas rush.

Nicola Cormell, Centre Manager at Lower Precinct, said:

“We are thrilled to have welcomed so many leading brands into the centre throughout the year and are excited to move into the festive season with a spectrum of stores offering all your Christmas essentials and more.

Our ‘Win A Shop’ competition has almost come to a close and we will soon be working alongside the successful candidate to provide marketing support and establish a mentoring relationship in time for the new business lunch.”
