INNOVATIVE HEALTH TECH FIRM RECEIVES ROYAL SEAL OF APPROVAL

Birmingham-based health tech pioneers, Rem3dy Health, today welcomed The West Midlands’ Lord Lieutenant to present the prestigious King’s Award for Enterprise in the Innovation category.

Following the announcement last year that Rem3dy Health should receive a King’s Award, after His Majesty the King approved the Prime Minister’s recommendation, the 3D printing innovators were finally presented with their prestigious trophy at their state-of-the-art facility in Smethwick. Throughout a rigorous judging process, Rem3dy Health and the Nourished brand were chosen as one of 10 West Midlands winners across all categories and the only winner in Birmingham in the Innovation category.

The presentation ceremony marks an impressive start to Q2, following a record 12-months for the business: Rem3dy Health oversaw remarkable global expansion for the Nourished brand across Europe and Asia, as well as an improved presence on UK shelves with landmark supermarket deals alongside a slew of product and flavour launches.

Founder and CEO, Melissa Snover, launched Nourished in 2019 and has navigated the business through turbulent economic circumstances, pandemics, and ever-changing consumer markets, with the King’s Award being the crowning achievement of their first four years of trading.

Commenting on the award, Snover said:

Today’s King’s Award ceremony truly feels like a culmination of the fantastic work of every single member of staff across all areas of the Rem3dy Health team. We pride ourselves on utilising our patented technology to pioneer personalised solutions across preventative and curative health. To be royally recognised for our contributions to innovation is something myself and the team are incredibly proud of.

“To win such an iconic award and be amongst a group of inspiring businesses from across the country is a huge honour, but our work doesn’t stop here. We are committed to continuing to use Rem3dy Health tech to disrupt the nutrition industry and improve the health of our valued customers. This award has also reiterated the fact that Birmingham – and the West Midlands as a whole – is a global business hub. The winners are a testament to the region’s trailblazing entrepreneurs and business leaders, the impactful work they do, and the ecosystem that allows them to thrive.”
