Olivia Davson is the co-founder of Cubbi: the money-saving platform for new and expecting parents.
Working in a similar way to multi-million pound businesses like UNiDAYS and StudentBeans, Cubbi offers discounts to a closed user group of verified new parents. Founded in response to increasing financial difficulties that parents face, Cubbi aims to reduce stress.
Olivia and her co-founder Tanyka are helping budgets stretch further, ensuring that the early days of parenthood can be cherished, not dreaded, by mums- and dads-to-be. In the year since launch, cubbi has already been nominated for several prestigious awards including TechNation Rising Stars, Birmingham Black Business Show Launchpad, House of CB Women for Women.
With a Bachelor of Engineering, Olivia has worked on Project Management across leading brands such as Rolls-Royce, Deliveroo and McLaren. Currently, she works as a Senior Program Manager at Amazon, alongside working on Cubbi. As a mother and a woman of colour in business, she is navigating the world of Startups whilst still in the corporate world.
Olivia is currently part of the Fortuna Fellowship, a 12-month programme supporting five ambitious female founders across the UK. Run in partnership with the 51% Club and venture capital firm Midven, part of Future Planet Capital, the programme offers expert mentorship and access to a possible £2 million investment fund at the end.
