West Bromwich’s esteemed Dartmouth Golf Course is set to open a brand-new restaurant on its grounds in September. Set within idyllic surroundings, the bar and restaurant, named The Lewisham, will be the latest addition to the successful, family-owned golf course, heightening the experience of the site for both members and newcomers alike.
The Lewisham will be open to the public, welcoming guests and golfers for breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea, dinner and cocktails in the new 60 cover space. The site has been tastefully renovated and boasts stunning interiors which look onto magnificent panoramic views over the Sandwell valley, which can be seen from the restaurant’s cocktail terrace.
The Lewisham will be an ideal venue for all occasions, from a post-round drink and nibbles to a family meal, or big celebration, with guests expected to enjoy fine wines, beers and spirits, within a relaxed and elegant setting. The restaurant will be available for private hire, corporate events, Christmas parties and business meetings with a private meeting room suitable for up to 12 people.

“I’m thrilled that the Lewisham will be opening next month. I’m really keen that Dartmouth Golf Course is seen as an inclusive place for all people to enjoy, and the launch of The Lewisham is certainly going to shift public opinion. With incredible cocktails, cuisine, interior and atmosphere, The Lewisham is set to be the new ‘place to be’ in West Bromwich, and I can’t wait for guests to enjoy a wonderful dining experience.”
The Lewisham is set to open in September, serving fresh, flavoursome, gastro-style cuisine alongside carefully crafted cocktails using only premium spirits.
