Brindleyplace-based restaurant, Cielo is bringing a taste of Bologna to Birmingham this summer as the restaurant serves up a brand-new menu inspired by a true taste of Italy. The award-winning restaurant had announced a new look for its a la carte menu as well as its fixed lunch and early evening menu.
Voted the most romantic venue in the city by OpenTable, family-run Cielo has been wowing customers since it opened 15 years ago. The award-winning restaurant combines true authentic flavours and only the finest ingredients to bring a true taste of Italy to the city. Loved by locals and a firm favourite with national reviewers, Cielo has revamped its menu to include brand new modern fusion dishes as well as giving firm favourites a facelift.
The new menu serves up the same exquisite Italian cuisine cooked with passion by head chef, Adam Talla. The restaurant prides itself on using only the finest ingredients and crafting inventive Mediterranean and dishes with style and flair. The new dishes include crown of lamb, tian of mash, glazed carrots, parsnip purée, red wine jus, fillet of sea bass, Med veg cous cous, spicy tomato, garlic and chilli sauce as well as open raviolo, wild mushrooms, black truffle, sage, white wine, grana Padano.
Located in Oozells Square in Brindleyplace, the restaurant also features a 24-cover outdoor terrace, overlooking the celebrated Ikon gallery and Japanese cherry blossom trees. One of the city’s most popular al fresco dining spots, Cielo has firmly established itself as the leading Italian restaurant in the Midlands and a must-go destination for the distinguished diner.
