CENTRICK OPENS THE DOOR TO NEW DIRECTOR

Centrick has continued to cement its place in the property industry with the expansion of its team; the property specialist is welcoming two new members, including most notably Sarah Hammond as it new Estate Management Director.

With over 20 years’ experience working in the residential property industry – including director level roles at Mainstay Residential – Sarah already feels at home with Centrick. Her latest position will involve overseeing its portfolio of more than 250 estate management properties, focusing on bringing the highest level of customer service to its 10,000 plus residents.

One of the leading managing agents in the region, Centrick has recently added the likes of Sherborne Quay, The Axium and St Georges Urban Village to its ever-growing property books, which now total over £1.5bn in assets.

Speaking about her appointment, Sarah commented:

“It’s great to join the Centrick family and lead its highly regarded estate management team. The Centrick ethos of placing its residents at the heart of all it does is one that truly resonates with me, and it’s clear from working with my new colleagues that this is fully embedded at the company’s core. I am looking forward to meeting many more of our customers and clients, pushing the level of service that we deliver even higher, and – most of all – helping to make these properties feel like ‘home’.”

Also joining Centrick as a new recruit is Mei Clark, who will become part of the Birmingham City Centre Lettings team that focuses on the day-to-day delivery of the business’ residential lettings service in the city. Fluent in English, Cantonese, Mandarin, and Malay, Centrick is confident that Mei’s far-reaching language skills will prove an asset in bolstering its offer to its customers – from overseas investors to international students alike.

James Ackrill, chairman at Centrick, said about the team expansion:

On behalf of the entire Centrick family, I would like to extend the warmest welcome to both Sarah and Mei. We are so pleased that we are continuing to create career opportunities, even in these turbulent times, particularly with Sarah’s addition to our senior management team. I am looking forward to drawing on her vast experience in the sector and know that she will further enhance our delivery model.

“While unpredictable and not without its challenges, 2020 has seen us achieve huge success as a business. Over the past few months, we’ve gone from strength-to-strength, with new partnerships, the debut of our Virtual Viewing services, and – of course – the launch of Centrick Commercial. I am confident that our latest members will help to grow the business even further.
