Never one to do things by halves, student property company Purple Frog has welcomed students to Birmingham in the city’s typical hospitable style. The team put on a feast for new residents at its Selly Oak office to coincide with moving day on 1 July. Almost 500 tenants, landlords and members of the local community came together for the gathering. As well as the free BBQ, which saw the staff serve up no less than 400 beef burgers, 400 hot dogs, 200 chicken bites, 100 halloumi kebabs, and 150 veggie burgers, free soft drinks were handed out to those waiting

PURPLE FROG TAKES PICK OF THE POLLS FOR NEW PROPERTY NAME

Student property company Purple Frog has decided to let democracy pave the way when choosing the new name for its latest apartment block. The recently refurbished residencies are currently called Oyinlola Apartments, however in keeping with its revitalised interior, the experts at Purple Frog thought it was only right that it had a brand-new name to match. This has led to the creation of a public poll, which had over 300 votes cast in just 3 days. MCDONALD’S SERVES UP TASTY DEAL AS HOLLYWOOD MONSTER PLANS EXPANSION

McDonald’s has chosen a West Midlands firm as one of the primary contractors for graphics, as part of a multimillion pound deal that will see over 1,000 UK restaurants undergo refurbishment.
