THE BUTCHERS SOCIAL ANNOUNCES A FESTIVE FEAST

This December, take the stress out of entertaining with the festive feasts on offer at The Butchers Social. The Henley-in-Arden based bar and restaurant has launched a selection of special menus available throughout the festive season, perfect for your business lunches, celebratory dinners and family get-togethers.

Available throughout December, The Butchers Social special Christmas menu boasts two banquet-style feasts that are served up in the middle of the table, for diners to dig in and enjoy. Once you’ve chosen pork loin or Hereford beef as your centrepiece, your feast is served with seasonal greens, goose fat potatoes, pigs in blankets and swede mash, along with lashings of gravy. Priced at £47 per person, this is a Christmas meal that you won’t want to miss!

The bar and restaurant, which is based in the heart of Henley-in-Arden, has received critical acclaim since opening. Owned by chef Mike Bullard, whose previous experience includes fine dining, private yatchs, Exec Chef at West Bromwich Albion amongst others, The Butchers Social prides itself on delivering food that really packs a punch but without the pretence of traditional fine dining menus.

Speaking about what’s on offer at The Butchers Social during December, owner and head chef, Mike Bullard, comments:

“It’s the perfect time of year to bring all the family and friends together for one big feast, and our Christmas menus are aimed at doing just that. We’ve got back to the traditions of yesteryear, with a Medieval-style feast that encourages everyone to get stuck in.

“That’s what The Bucthers Social is all about; we remove the formalities of traditional dining without compromising on incredible quality food. Christmas is a stressful time so we wanted to offer a home-from-home style menu that takes the stress away from entertaining!”

In addition to the two meat feasts available, The Butchers Social also has a Christmas-themed a la carte menu with dishes including roast hake with risotto, served with samphire, lemon and burnt butter sauce, as well as slow cooked ox cheek wellington, with savoy cabbage, onions, king oyster mushrooms, crispy pancetta and bone marrow jus.

Famous for its steaks, The Butchers Social also has a range of 35 day aged steaks including 9oz and 12oz ribeyes, Wagyu rump and fillet steaks on offer. For those that know and love the chicken wings, they’re staying on the menu too, with the famous salted caramel option featuring alongside Jalapeno & Coriander, Franks Hot Sauce, Smokey BBQ Sauce and Black Bean Soy & Sesame.

Having started life in a disused butchers shop in Harborne, The Butchers Social has now become one of Warwickshire’s leading restaurants, after moving to its Henley-in-Arden home. The 60 cover restaurant also boasts a bar and large beer garden, welcoming diners from near and far to sample food that critics are calling “one to watch”.
