BIRMINGHAM GETS FIRED UP FOR BRAND NEW NOODLE BAR

Noodle-lovers: get ready to ‘Wok to Walk’ this way as the brand-new noodle bar opens on New Street. Proving fast food doesn’t have to compromise on quality, nutrition, or speed, Wok to Walk prepares all food fresh to order, allowing the customer complete control over their meal. Wok to Walk, which has sister sites in London as well as oversees, opened its doors earlier this week.

Situated next door to Piccadilly Arcade, Wok to Walk brings fresh, filling, and fast food to Birmingham city centre, from lunchtimes to late nights. Located at 109 New Street, the site is small, but is expecting to have a mighty impact. The 697 sq. ft. restaurant has a seated capacity of 14, but the 14-strong team is forecasting that it will sell 21 kilograms of egg noodles every day.

Bursting with fun and flames, Wok to Walk fires up delicious Asian street food in front of your eyes, with an open kitchen to show you just how it’s done.  At Wok to Walk, the possibilities are endless with a countless number of menu combinations available.

Customers can create their perfect wok box by following the three-step-menu: selecting their base – noodles, rice, or vegetables – before adding a range of natural, healthy and fresh toppings that fit even the most complex of dietary requirements. Finally comes the sauce, which completes the fresh, top quality and MSG-free personalised meals.

Speaking about Wok to Walk’s opening, Kobi Grossman, Business Development Director, Starboard Dining, commented:

We are certain that the appetite in this city is spot-on for what Wok to Walk is bringing, and we’re excited to being opening in the heart of Birmingham. Our offer is pretty unique; our wokkists will be firing up the kitchen and getting ready to welcome Asian street food lovers in a restaurant that celebrates great taste, honest ingredients, and a love of cooking!”

At Wok to Walk, the kitchen takes centre stage, so customers don’t just select every ingredient that goes into their meal, but also get to watch cooked before their eyes. The chefs will be put to the test, cooking behind glass and putting on a show, complete with all the drama and excitement of flames.

For us, it is all about the customer experience. Whether you find your ideal combination on your first visit, want to spice it up with something different each time they stop by, or just keep coming back for the theatre of it, we want to ensure that everyone finds something for them at Wok to Walk. We want to create a community of Wok to Walk lovers and already have our Loyalty App ready for those who just can’t get enough – it’s packed full of free woks, secret deals, and recipe suggestions… so download it and get ready for a flaming good time!” Kobi added.

Wok to Walk opened its doors earlier this week, and will be open seven days a week with delivery services coming later in the summer.
