Also in attendance is the award-winning cigar distributor, Hunter & Frankau, who will be pairing Dalmore single malts with the finest Cuban cigars on thestudio’s roof terrace.
The day will be run by Nickolls and Perks of Stourbridge, one of the UK’s oldest wine & spirits merchants, established in 1797. Speaking about this year’s Midlands Whisky Festival, Nickolls and Perks’ Marketing and Events Manager Tim Robbins said:
“We’re delighted to hold the Festival in Birmingham at such a central location; the event attracts more people every time from further afield. This show will boast a record number of exhibitors and we hope that visitors will be impressed by the quality and quantity of what’s on offer, as this is a testament to the relationship we have established with them over many years as independent merchants.”
This year is the first that the Midlands Whisky Festival will be in Birmingham. The Commercial Director at thestudio, Julian Kettleborough is thrilled that the festival organisers chose thestudio as the venue, saying:
“I am really excited to have the Midlands Whisky Festival come to us. There is so much on offer throughout the day and we hope that the space complements all of the action going on. We cannot wait to have everyone here: it is going to be great!”
